Allison Schreiber Lee

Allison Schreiber Lee is a seasoned trial attorney who focuses her practice on family law and domestic relations. Allison has extensive experience in representing men and women in high-conflict custody and high-asset property division matters. Allison has counseled clients in matters involving mental health and addiction concerns, and emotional, verbal, and physical abuse issues. She has represented individuals who have themselves or have spouses with personality disorders (including narcissistic personality disorder and borderline personality disorder), mental health challenges, and a history of addiction. She has also worked with many families on custody issues related to children who have special needs; considering a child’s special needs or challenges is an important consideration in any custody dispute.
Allison’s representation includes divorces, paternity matters, motions to modify child support, child custody, and maintenance, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and in seeking and defending against Orders of Protection. Her representation of both husbands and wives allows her a distinctive understanding of what the other side is planning in litigation.
Allison’s prior employment as a child abuse prosecutor also provides her with insight into the investigation and allegations of child abuse. She has worked with clients both to protect their children from abusers, and to protect the rights of those wrongfully accused of both physical and sexual abuse in Children’s Division matters. Allison has defended clients who are being investigated by the Department of Social Services, Children’s Division, including appearing before the Child Abuse and Neglect Review Board (CANRB) and trials de novo in the circuit court.
Allison is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). In April of 2025, Allison was elected as the Missouri delegate to the House of Governors of the AAML, an honored distinction for family law attorneys. The Academy Fellows are highly skilled negotiators and litigators who represent individuals in all facets of family law.
Allison is the author of the book Co-parenting ABCs: Effective tips from a divorced divorce lawyer and parent. Allison has also been selected as a SuperLawyerTM in Missouri and as a SuperLawyerTM Top 50 Women Attorneys in Missouri and Kansas. She has also been recognized as a Best Lawyer in the area of Family Law in Missouri.
